The Lavansville Sewage Treatment Plant was constructed in 2006 to provide sewage treatment service to the community of Lavansville, western portions of Somerset Borough, and the Route 31 corridor in between them, located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. This Plant has eliminated all flow tributary to Somerset Borough's West End Pump Station. The treatment process consists of a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) process and is designed for a sewage flow of 0.150 MGD from residential/commercial customers. The sewage collection system consists of two pump stations.
